Dr. Andrew Yadegari

BIO:

Dr. Andrew Yadegari completed his medical degree in 2007 from the University of British Columbia, where he transitioned into his residency program in Internal Medicine. He continued his training in Cardiology at the University of Western Ontario and completed a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology, with a second-year focus on structural intervention.

Dr. Yadegari has served as a staff cardiologist at SHN Centenary site since he was recruited in 2015. His work as an interventional cardiologist within the cardiac catheterization lab includes active involvement in the regional Code STEMI program, which provides emergent angioplasty care for patients throughout the Scarborough and Durham regions.

His general cardiology practice at the Heart Health Institute enables him to serve communities near the Scarborough and Ajax sites. His special interest in innovation have led to his co-founding multiple medical technology companies.
